The star of our sandos, our shokupan bread is incredibly light and fluffy and baked fresh in house everyday

with locally sourced flour. 

Japanese comfort food, artisanal baking, and of course the katsu sauce are at the forefront of what we make. Our 70 year-old katsu sauce is made from a tomato base with sweet, subtle notes of apple, pear, and dates.

Our pastries are infused with flavors commonly found in Japanese cuisine. Everything is baked on-site daily and made with locally sourced ingredients.

 

At Tanaka, comfort meets contemporary. We

offer an all-day breakfast and lunch menu made with delightful ingredients sourced from the Pacific Northwest.
